Close up turning// One of the things that sets us apart from the competition is our sawyer Chris Carroll. He has spent his entire life learning about and working with wood. He knows exactly what species of tree works best for which projects. He has worked in the saw mill business for over 15 years.  He has over 20 years experience building homes and log cabins.
In addition to his vast knowledge and building skills, he’s also an artist.  He is a woodworking instructor at Tryon Arts and Crafts School and a talented wood sculptor.  He can use the lumber from your tree to build outdoor structures like pergolas, barns, man caves, she-sheds, picnic tables, benches or any other project you can imagine. If you want something to hand down to the grandkids, he also builds harvest tables, coffee tables, rustic benches and other indoor furniture.
Chris’ work has been featured in numerous newspapers and magazines as well as radio and tv shows. He’s guaranteed to make something people will talk about!
